Terms of use

Clear expectations for a product in development.

Version: 15 October 2026 · Under Development / Private Testing

1. Product and developer

CardLedger and the CardLedger Backup utility are developed and maintained by CredoNomics Investment Solutions. They are under development and private testing. These public pages describe the product; they do not provide public sign-up, a production service or permission to use development builds with real financial data.

2. Intended recordkeeping use

CardLedger is intended to help users record credit-card expenses, shared responsibilities, independent approvals, repayments, settlements and financial history. A recorded transaction or settlement confirmation does not itself transfer money, confirm an issuer’s bank records or replace official statements.

CredoNomics is the software developer. No bank or card issuer affiliation, regulatory certification, investment-adviser status or financial guarantee is claimed for CardLedger. The product is not a payment service or a source of personalized financial, investment, tax or legal advice.

3. Responsibilities during private testing

  • Use only authorized test accounts, synthetic data and explicitly approved test environments.
  • Enter and review records carefully. Independent approvals must be made by the appropriate participant; do not act as another person.
  • Keep passwords, OAuth credentials, backup keys and unlock information secure. Never submit bank login credentials, OTPs, PINs or CVVs through these pages or support messages.
  • Verify current official statements and payment records separately. Do not rely on a development build as the sole record of a real financial obligation.

4. Backup and recovery limitations

CardLedger Backup requires explicit Google authorization and sufficient storage in the chosen account. Archives are encrypted before cloud transfer; the decryption key is kept separately. Google account access does not replace the recovery key.

Controlled synthetic transfer/readback/restore tests have passed, but scheduled backups are not activated. Recovery on the original PC does not establish recovery on an independently provisioned replacement computer. No uninterrupted operation, zero data loss, permanent Google authorization or recovery without the correct key is guaranteed.

Users remain responsible for retaining adequate independent recovery copies and key custody. Deleting an archive, losing a key, an unavailable Windows profile, account restrictions or credential revocation can affect recovery. Google Drive storage and account services are subject to Google’s own terms.

5. Availability, changes and support

Development features may change, be paused or be removed. Production availability, a release date, a service-level commitment and continuous monitoring are not currently offered. A private test invitation or a successful test is not a production-readiness approval.

For CardLedger questions, feedback or support during private testing, contact CredoNomics at credonomicsinvest@gmail.com. No fixed response time is promised.

6. Privacy and later releases

The CardLedger privacy policy describes Google permissions, local token protection, retention and user controls. Any later production release or material change to data handling will require updated information and appropriate review before activation. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
